This, the 5th annual HKACE Customer Service Excellence Awards event aimed to promote and reward member organizations and individuals for outstanding customer service. Phyllis Chan of Quality Assurance won the silver award in the Internal Support Service category.

As winner of the Outsourced Contact Center of Year in Hong Kong, we participated in the 2nd Regional Call Center Awards in Singapore. We competed with winners from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand and won the Bronze Award. The concept of this awards program is to facilitate contact center learning and development at national, regional and global levels.

Hong Kong Call Center Awards is a major annual event organized by the Hong Kong Call Center Association to recognize individuals and businesses that strive to meet customer expectations and deliver outstanding levels of customer service through call centers.

At the 6th annual Hong Kong Call Centre Awards event, PCCW Teleservices won two center and five individual awards as below:

Center awards:
1 Gold Outsourced Contact Center of the Year Over 100 Seats ¡V Teleservices (this was the second time Teleservices won this gold award)
2 Silver Contact Center of the Year Under 30 Seats ¡V the Nokia Careline Program
Individual awards:
1 Silver Contact Center Manager of the Year ¡V Lawrence Lam of Fixed Line Call Center
2 Bronze Team Leader of the Year ¡V Cherry Chan of Guangzhou Call Center
3 Silver Contact Center Professional of the Year ¡V Kevin Yeung of Hong Kong Tourism Board Program
4 Bronze Contact Center Professional of the Year ¡V Taki Ying of AXA Program
5 Silver Contact Center Champion of the Year ¡V Kevin Hui of Nokia Careline Program

We won the prestigious Best China Customer Service Center Award, organized by the Guangdong Information Industry Association. This demonstrated our leading position and contribution to the call center industry. The judging process comprised written submissions and on-site assessment by a group of call center professionals.
