October 2006

Organised by Hong Kong Call Center Association (HKCCA), the Hong Kong Call Center Awards 2006 honored individuals and companies that strive to meet customer expectations and deliver outstanding levels of customer service through the call center.

At the 7th Hong Kong Call Center Assocation Awards, PCCW Teleservices won three center awards and four individual awards as below:

Center awards:
1 Gold Outsourced Contact Center of the Year Over 100 Seats ~ Teleservices
2 Silver New Setup Contact Center of the Year ~ Panyu Call Center
3 Bronze Contact Center of the Year Over 30 Seats ~ Mobile Call Center
Individual Awards:
1 Gold Team Leader of the Year: Yan Chan (Directory Inquiries)
2 Bronze Contact Center Manager of the Year: Cindy Ki (Nokia Careline)
3 Bronze Team Leader of the Year: Bryan Cheung (Helpdesk Program)
4 Bronze Customer Service Representative of the Year: Karena Chan (Fixed Line Fault Reporting)

Following last yearˇ¦s success, we won the Best China Customer Service Center Award organised by the Guangdong Information Industry Association Customer Service Committee. This demonstrated our continued leading position and contribution to the call center industry. The judging process comprised written submissions and on-site assessment by a group of call center professionals.

The publicationˇ¦s exclusive Top 50 Teleservices Agencies ranking is designed to recognize teleservices agencies for being the largest in the industry, measured by the amount of teleservices they have provided over the previous year. PCCW Teleservices achieved this ranking for three consecutive years from 2004 to 2006.
