Awards Highlights - 2007

November 2007

PCCW Teleservices have won three remarkable awards in the 2007 Asia Pacific Customer Service Recognition of Excellence scheme. They are:

  • Asia Pacific Customer Service Centre Award
  • Asia Pacific Outsource Centre Award
  • Asia Pacific Customer Service Manager Merit Award: Joseph Wong

The awards were presented by the Asia Customer Service Association, supported by numerous government departments within mainland China with the backing of reputable and well-established associations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Korea, Australia and Indonesia. The association launched the 2007 Asia Pacific Customer Service Recognition of Excellence scheme with the aim of recognizing the ¡§best of the best¡¨ corporations within the service industry of the Asia Pacific region.

China Call Center Ten Years Achievement Award

PCCW Teleservices has been awarded the 2007 China Call Centre Ten Years Achievement Award.  The award was presented by the China CRM Committee, China Federation of IT Promotion (CFIP) and the Customer Contact Centre Standard Committee (CCCS) after they evaluated contributions made by contact center industry participants in China over the past 10 years.

PCCW won the Grand Award at the 8th Annual Hong Kong Call Center Association Awards, with PCCW Teleservices receiving three contact center and four individual awards as below:

Contact Center awards category:

  • Gold award for Inbound Contact Center of the Year (Outsourced)
  • Gold award for Outbound Contact Center of the Year (Outsourced)
  • Silver award for Inbound Contact Center of the Year (Offshore)

Individual awards category:

  • Gold award for Outbound Contact Center Professional of the Year: Calvin Cheuk
  • Silver award for Outbound Contact Center Team Leader of the Year: Alex Tsang
  • Silver award for Inbound Contact Center Agent of the Year: Laura Wong
  • Bronze award for Outbound Contact Center Agent of the Year: Sarah Lui
 
8th Annual Hong Kong Call Center Association Awards
September 2007

PCCW Teleservices was awarded the "Best China Call Center in 2007 (outsourcing)" title in September by the China Call-Center & CRM Association (CNCCA), the Call Center Occupational Standards Committee of the Ministry of Information Industry (MICCOS) and the Customer Care & Management World Group (CCMW).

PCCW Teleservices was named "Best China Customer Service Center Award 2006 ¡V 2007" by the China Information Industry Association for the third consecutive year in July and received the accolade at the 4th China Customer Service International Forum in Guangzhou.

We achieved remarkable results in the nation-wide contact center award in China, namely the "2007 China's Best Contact Center and CRM Awards". It is held by the China CRM Committee, consisting of members from government agencies in China, large enterprises, public institutions, social groups and other related experts in customer contact center and CRM field. Our contact center operations and in-house developed CRM solution were awarded the followings respectively.

  • 2007 China's Best Outsourced Contact Center Award

Its exclusive Top 50 Teleservices Agencies Ranking is designed to recognize teleserivces agencies for being the largest operation in the industry, as measured by the amount of teleservices they did in the past year. We have got this recognition for four consecutive years since 2004.

The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) presented the 2006 Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Productivity and Quality Certificate of Merit to PCCW Teleservices on February 5, 2007. The award aims to recognize and encourage Hong Kong enterprises that achieve improved productivity and quality on a continual basis.

Organized by the Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence, the Customer Service Excellence Awards 2006 aim to promote outstanding customer service and reward member organizations and staff members for high achievement in that regard. Driven by a commitment to provide top-quality service to customers, PCCW Teleservices won two team awards ¡V the Gold Award for Contact Center Service and the Gold Award for Internal Support Service, which were presented on January 26, 2007.
