PCCW Teleservices Acquires Two Contact Centre Outsourcing Businesses
PCCW Teleservices has signed an agreement to acquire controlling 70% stakes in two contact centre outsourcing businesses, Interactive Teleservices in the USA and BPO Teleservices in the Philippines. Already running one of the largest contact center operations in Asia, PCCW increased its agent positions by around 2,500 to over 5,500 following the transaction. The two companies together operate a network of six English speaking call centers in Ohio and Nebraska in the U.S., one Spanish speaking center in Panama, and two centers in Manila providing services to U.S. companies.
